Humor Mistake #3
February 8th, 2012
Jimmy You can’t develop or improve a sense of humour. We are all born with one this is why we laughed as infants. The problem is that as we grew up we were taught to grim up and we became over serious. Humour is a skill that can be learned. Want to re-discover and develop yours? Be more playful and have a childlike attitude.

What’s so good about a good sense of humor?
January 17th, 2012
Jimmy I was recently asked this question in a complementary sample coaching session. My answer even surprised me! Simply, the best thing about humor is that it provides a sense of perspective. It gives you the ability to focus on the funny and not always on the fatal. Seeing the lighter side opens you to new possibilities of what can be done.

Self help when you feel self helpless
January 11th, 2012
Jimmy Your healthy humour can be a great source of help to you in reducing personal tension and providing needed perspective in difficult times. Happy Humourous New Year!
January 3rd, 2012
Jimmy I wish all of you my tipsys (I bet you haven’t been called that before) a very happy and humourous new year. My big humor tip for 2012 is to be intentional about improving your sense of humor. Look for laughs in your life and find the funny. Dr. Seuss said it best: “from here to there and there to here, funny things are everywhere.”

Stand out you don’t have to be a Stand Up!
November 30th, 2011
Jimmy You don’t need to be a stand up comedian to make your humour standout. Comedy is the art form of humour, leave this one to the pros. To be more humourous just be more of yourself. Your own natural humour will make you look creative and personable. Begin by being aware of what makes you laugh and what you do or say that makes others laugh with you.
